Communications / Officials

I entered the triathlon community on a dare from my best friend through the Team in Training program in 2001. Little did I know that I would find a sport that I love. Since then I have competed in Sprints and Olympic distances. An achilles tear put me out in 2007 but I am hoping to be up and racing again in 2008.

I am an active member in a DFW triathlon club. I am a race director and have served as a USAT official for 3 years. I also serve as the SMW Regional Officials Coordinator.

I was born and raised in Texas. YAHOO! I graduated with my BA and MBA from UT Dallas. And yes, I am a Dallas Cowboy fan - even when they were losing. I am lucky enough to be married to a fellow triathlete, Michael (he is an Ironman). We have 2 children, McKenna and Mason, and 2 dogs. We live in McKinney, Texas.

I believe we have the best races, the nicest athletes and best overall triathlon community and I am proud to serve my region.
