I have participated in the sport of triathlon since 1981. Since that time I have introduced the sport to hundreds of individuals, have competed in over 300 multi-sport events, volunteered at numerous triathlons, given my time to help new triathletes in the sport. As well, I coach triathletes on a personal level and serve as a Masters Swim coach. I also am a race director. Previously I have served as an appointed member of the SMW USAT Board. I have also been instrumental in having the company I work for be a significant participant/sponsor with a majority of the triathlons held in Texas. The summary is that I am involved, supportive and energetic for OUR sport.
