It has been said many times that participating in the sport of triathlon becomes a way of life. That is certainly been the case for me. I actually participated in my first triathlon in 1990. The sport of triathlon has given to me a healthy lifestyle, lifelong friendships, and a host of other benefits. I’d like to give back to the sport that has given so much to me by serving on the USAT South Midwest Region Board.

I have served on a youth association board of directors serving 1200 youth in our community for five years and I understand the how important a board position is to the organization it serves. If I were given the opportunity to serve on the USAT South Midwest Region I would work together with the other board members to make the region the best region in the country.

I am very much a team player and I would work with the other board members to make decisions that benefit all the athletes in the region.
