2010 SMW Collegiate Triathlon Camp

Collegiate Training Camp
March 20-22, 2010
Lubbock, Texas
This Collegiate Training Camp is the perfect place to enhance your triathlon skills under the supervision of an expert coaching staff and to practice on the 2010 Collegiate National Championship course.
What you will receive:
- Swim Stroke Technique and video analysis
- Run Form Technique and drills
- Cycling Skills and draft- legal practice (road bikes only)
- Transitioning for Efficiency and Speed including mounts and dismounts
- Information on building your collegiate team
- Dinner Saturday Night
- And much more!
Each athlete is responsible for their own transportation, lodging, meals other than Saturday night and park entry fees ($6/person).
The Staff
Instruction for this event will be led by Justin Trolle, USAT Development Manager, and Shelly Campbell, USAT Elite Coach.
Who can attend
- All athletes must be full-time students within the 2009-2010 academic year (undergrad or graduate)
- A maximum age of 28.
- All athletes must be USAT annual members.
- All experience levels but athlete must be able to swim 300yds without stopping, Cycle 60 min, and run 30min.
- Designated Team Coaches (may not be a student) who have at least 7 athletes attending may participate at no charge. However, they must be available to assist with group instruction. Please contact the event director, Nick Siedel. Email: tanpan77@yahoo.com to register.

- $50/person until Feb 28, 2010. $75 March 1-15.
- Until Jan 31, 2010 registration is limited to the first 7 athletes per college or university. If more than 7 register, the 8th athlete will be notified and will need to re-register at open registration on Feb 1st. No exceptions Apply.
- Athletes enrolled in a college or university that does not have an organized triathlon team are welcome.
- If a team has more than 7 athletes who are interested, registration will open on a first come, first serve basis on Feb 1, 2010.

Essential Items to Bring to Camp:
- Swim: Swim suit, wetsuit, goggles, 2 swim caps, 2 towels, and bodyglide.
- Bike: Road or Triathlon Bike in good working order, bike helmet, shoes and gloves, layered cycling clothing, 2 water bottles, nutritional items (sport drinks, gels, bars), bike tools and pump.
- Run: Running shoes and attire, heart rate monitor and/or watch.
- LOTS OF WARM CLOTHES
