USAT SMW Regional Youth Series races. We are increasing the number
of youth races in this series to five this year. If you are hosting
a youth specific (8-15 yrs) triathlon, preferably one void of direct
interaction with an Age Group race, please forward your race

Triathlon Supplemental Youth Rule Changes

The USAT board of directors
recently adopted new rules for youth events (ages 7-15) that will
take effect January 1, 2012. A copy is posted
HERE and questions can be directed to Charlie Crawford,
charlie@usatriathlon.org
or at (334) 332-9092. Among several changes, please note that
time trial bikes, disc wheels, and aero helmets will no longer be
allowed in competitive racing.
